Hepatitis F

> Hepatitis F is one of the types of Hepatitis which is caused by an as yet poorly    characterized DNA virus.
> This disease is caused by the hepatitis F virus.
> Hepatitis F is a hypothetical virus linked to hepatitis.
> This is also known as a hypothetical virus which is popularly linked to hepatitis.
> This is also known as a nonexistent virus as well.
> Most recently, in 1994 Deka et al reported that novel viral particles had been    discovered in the stool of post-transfusion, non-hepatitis A, non-hepatitis B,    non-
hepatitis C, non-hepatitis E    patients.
> Injection of these particles, into the bloodstream of Indian rhesus monkeys caused    hepatitis, and the virus was named hepatitis F, or Toga virus.
> Further investigations failed to confirm the existence of the virus, and it was delisted    as a cause for infectious hepatitis.
Sign and symptoms-
> Some of the major symptoms of Hepatitis F includes-
      Fever
      Fatigue
      Loss of appetite
      Abdominal pain
      Anorexia
      Dark urine
      Jaundice
      Nausea
      Vomiting
      Joint pain
      Diarrhea
      Itching skin or rash
 These symptoms are available at the final stages of the disease.
Diagnosis-
      Blood tests.
      Liver panel tests.
      ELISA II.
      RIBA II.
      Liver biopsy.
Treatment
   Hepatitis F is one of those diseases which presently have no treatment.
