Data statistics

DB-DRD4 Database contains 254 sequences from 69 organisms and synthetic construct, including mammals, aves, pisces,and bacteria. Each entry in the database will be searchable by Genbank accession number.

Recapitulate of the Work

    Inspite of above information, there are numerous DRD4 Sequences of various organism, mostly of Homo sapiens showed no hit with GPCR Signature and Transmembrane Region, still they are considered under DRD4 sequences.
    Literature related to DRD4 receptor proved that these sequences exactly show the pattern of DRD4 Exon1 and 3 region but this sequence information is not available on Pfam, prodom, prosite searching engine. Besides, the consensus pattern of the DRD4 sequence is also not available.So, we are just trying to interpret the consensus pattern of
Dopamine D4 Receptor, as this is related to many neural disorders.
